Hearst have chosen the man to lead them into their first ever NOJHL season.
Marc Lafleur has been named the first ever Head Coach and General Manager of the Hearst Lumberjacks franchise as of Friday afternoon.
For the last five years Lafleur has served as the coach and GM of the NOJHL’s Kirkland Lake Goldminers.
In his time with Kirkland, Lafleur led the franchise to a NOJHL title in 2014, and an Eastern Conference Championship last season.

He was also named NOJHL Coach of the Year back in 2012/13.
The Lumberjacks begin their inaugural 2017/18 season this September.
