McHappy Day in Kapuskasing and Hearst was as successful as it’s ever been this year.

That is according to McDonald’s Administrative Assistant Linda Shadd, who says both locations raised more than in previous years.

Shadd says McDonald’s in Kapuskasing was able to raise $3,500, meanwhile, the Hearst location raised $1,110.

She says the effort of the volunteers and crew are what helped to make the day such a success, as well as the donations from the community.

Shadd says she is overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of the community.

All money raised from McHappy Day in Kapuskasing and Hearst went to Ronald McDonald House Charities in Toronto.
