Police are alerting the Cochrane community of a suspicious male motorist approaching children.
The OPP says a male motorist approached a child walking on her own Sunday around 5:00pm.
Police say the male offered the child a ride.
When the child said no, they were ordered to get into the vehicle, at which point the child ran away.
The motorist is being described as white, 50 to 60 years of age, clean shaven and wearing blue jeans with a black coat.
