750 pounds of dog food was delivered this weekend to resident dogs in Kashechewan.
Ontario SPCA responded to an urgent appeal from the Kashechewan First Nation to feed their resident dogs following their mass evacuation.
The food was flown in on Saturday, and since volunteers from multiple services have been delivering and feeding local area dogs left behind in the flood evacuations.
The Ontario SPCA would like to thank the generosity of their donors who made it possible to complete such an undertaking.
