(NHL)  The New York Rangers have the Montreal Canadiens on the brink after beating the Habs 3-2 in overtime last night. New York has a 3-2 series lead. In other action Edmonton beat San Jose 4-3 in OT to take a 3-2 series lead, Pittsburgh finished off Columbus with a 5-2 victory to win the series 4 games to 1 and the surprising Nashville Predators beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1 to sweep their series 4 games to none.

(NBA)  In the NBA playoffs last night the Milwaukee Bucks crushed the Toronto Raptors 104-77 to take a 2-1 series lead. Elsewhere Cleveland beat Indiana 119-114 to take a 3-0 series lead and Memphis ran to a 105-94 win over San Antonio. The Spurs lead that series 2 games to 1.

(MLB)  The Toronto Blue Jays hit the road today after losing to the Boston Red Sox 4-1 in 10 innings yesterday. The 3 and 12 Jays start a weekend set in LA tonight taking on the Angels.
