Hearst’s new NOJHL franchise has a name and logo to match.
Announced this week, the team name will be Lumberjacks for their inaugural 2017/18 campaign.
The team will wear a black, orange and white colour scheme, a nod to Hearst native Claude Giroux’s Philadelphia Flyers.
Hearst ownership says Giroux has played a big role contributing to the team’s creation, so the logo and colour scheme was their way of saying thanks.
