Junior Rodeo Champion Says Autism Awareness Month A Chance To Help Educate The Community

The Ontario Rodeo Association’s number one ranked junior rider is focused on conquering more than bucking broncos this April.

17-year-old Mel Berube says Autism affects her close to home.

Berube says that getting people talking is how we create more awareness.

She says she hopes her success in rodeo can continue to give her opportunities to help speak about issues such as Autism.

Berube was also in Kapuskasing at Moonbeam Country Store this past Saturday, to help promote Autism Awareness.
