Other matchups include Montreal against the Rangers, Ottawa and Boston, San Jose taking on Edmonton and Calgary will face Anaheim.

(Masters)  Sergio Garcia  overcame a two-shot deficit with six holes to play and beat Justin Rose in a sudden-death playoff at the Masters yesterday to win  his first major. No one ever played more majors as a pro, Garcia has been in 70, before winning one for the first time.

(NBA)  The Toronto Raptors clinched third place in the NBA’s Eastern conference after beating the New York Knicks 110-97 yesterday.  DeMar DeRozan scored 35 points to lead the Raptors.

(Curling)  Canada’s Brad Gushue completed a perfect run at the World Men’s Curling Championship yesterday with a 4-2 win over Sweden in the gold-medal game. Canada is the first rink to go undefeated at this event since Canada did back in 1995. Gushue is the first skip to do it in the 12-team era.
