(NBA)  Kyle Lowry made his return to the Toronto Raptors last night after missing 18 games with a wrist injury, Lowry scored 27 points to help the Raptors come back from a 20-point first-half deficit  for a 105-102 win over the Detroit Pistons. With the win, Toronto moved a half-game ahead of Washington for third place in the East.

(MLB)  The Baltimore Orioles used the long ball to beat the Toronto Blue Jays 3-1 last night. Jay Happ who struck out nine in seven innings, gave up homers to Adam Jones and Chris Davis in the loss.

(NHL)  Only two games in the NHL last night. Washington clinched the Presidents Trophy with a 2-0 win over the New York Rangers and Buffalo edged Montreal 2-1.

(Curling)  Team Canada remains perfect at the Men’s World Curling Championship after beating the Netherlands and Japan yesterday. Canada is now 9-0 and has clinched a spot in the 1-2 Page playoff  game
