(NHL)  The Toronto Maple Leafs fell back to the second Wild Card Spot in the Eastern Conference after being crushed 4-1 by the Washington Capitals last night. In other action Ottawa shut out Detroit 2-0, Boston blanked Tampa bay 4-0, Winnipeg beat St Louis 5-2, Anaheim got past Calgary 3-1, LA won 6-4 over Edmonton and San Jose skated to a 3-1 win over Vancouver.

(NBA)  The Toronto Raptors looked like they just ran out of gas as the Indiana Pacers came back from a 19-point, first-half deficit to blow out Toronto 108-90 last night. DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 27 points.

(Curling)  Team Canada just keeps rolling along after they beat China 9-4 and then crushed Germany 8-2 yesterday at the Men’s World Curling Championship. Canada sits atop the standings with a perfect 7-0 record.
