(NHL) The Jets slid by the Canucks 2-1 last night, the Ducks doubled the Rangers 6-3, and the Flyers took the Penguins 6-2.
(MLB) Toronto squeeked a 4-3 win over Detroit yesterday in preseason action.  In two of the most mismatched games in history, Oakland beat Milwaukee 11-1, and the Cubs killed the Reds 22-4.
