(NBA) DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points to lead the Toronto Raptors to their second straight win, a 116-91 victory over the Indiana Pacers yesterday. The Raptors are fourth in the East, a game-and-a-half behind third-place Washington.
(NHL) The Montreal Canadiens beat the Ottawa Senators 4-1 yesterday to sweep the weekend home-and-home series. The Canadiens now lead the Atlantic Division by four points over the Senators. In other action, Winnipeg edged Minnesota 5-4 and Calgary skated to a 5-2 win over LA.
(MLB) In Grapefruit League action yesterday the Toronto Blue Jays and the Pittsburgh Pirates played to an 11-11 tie. Mike Bolsinger started for Toronto, throwing 2 and two third scoreless innings with four strikeouts.
(Curling) Rachel Homan and Team Canada are still perfect at the 2017 world women’s curling championship. Canada downed the United States 7-5 earlier this morning in Beijing. Canada is now 4 and 0 and takes on Switzerland later today
