(NHL) The Los Angeles Kings came back from a two-goal third period deficit to beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 in the shootout last night. In other action Paul Byron scored with nine seconds left to play as the Montreal Canadiens beat the Nashville Predators 2-1, Ottawa edged Colorado 2-1and San jose skated to a 3-1 victory over Vancouver.
(MLB) In Grapefruit League action yesterday Toronto’s Jay Happ threw 2 scoreless innings as the Blue Jays and Phillies played to an 8-8 tie. Today the jays host the Yankees in Dunedin.
