Ontario’s Rachel Homan won the Scotties Tournament of Hearts with an 8-6 win in an extra end over Manitoba’s Michelle Englot yesterday. At 27, Homan is the youngest skip, male or female, to win three Canadian championships.
Kurt Busch made  a last-lap pass to win the crash-filled Daytona 500 yesterday. It was the first Daytona 500 win for Busch and for Stewart-Haas Racing.
