Chamber provides 2017 budget input

The Timmins chamber of commerce is looking for more accountability and transparency in the Wynne Liberals’ upcoming budget.  The chamber has given the Ontario government a list of things it wants in the next budget.  They include the government producing a comprehensive business case and socio-economic impact study before selling more Crown corporations.  The chamber’s recommendation follows the 2014 sale of Ontera, the government’s telecommunications company at a $61-million loss.
