The Cochrane Winter Carnival is in full swing and Saturday’s snowmobile races proved once again that competitors from near and far are ready to risk it all for the top prize. But the races, across divisions, also drew all ages with the youngest competitors in the preteen category with the eldest in his 60s. Numbers were down a bit this year, but energy levels were up.
