The second half of the NHL season got underway last night with plenty of goals to be had. The Toronto Maple Leafs got doubled up by Dallas 6-3, Ottawa lost a close one 6-5 to the Florida Panthers, Montreal beat Buffalo 5-2, the Winnipeg jets came out victors over St. Louis 5-3, and Edmonton lost 5-2 against Minnesota.
