Museum gets federal grant

FedNor is making a sizeable contribution to the museum in Black River-Matheson.  The Thelma Miles Historical Museum is getting just under $47,000 to replace the roof, add siding and plumbing and apply new insulation.  A new facia is also added to the mix.  The upgrades will make the museum more energy efficient and stop leaks in the building.  The grant is another of the Canada 150 legacy allocations FedNor has been making as we get ready to celebrate Canada`s 150th birthday July 1st.
