The Sudbury area may have recorded Northeastern Ontario’s first fatal crash of the year. Police say the driver of a snowmobile has died from injuries sustained in the crash Monday afternoon. The fatal crash took place east of the city in Garson. Police are investigating what caused the collision and are withholding the victim’s name until next of kin have been notified.
