(NHL)  The Toronto Maple Leafs blew a two-goal lead in the third period and Alex Ovechkin scored in overtime as Washington beat the Leafs 6-5 last night. In other action Montreal needed overtime for a 2-1 win over Nashville, Winnipeg skated to a 6-4 victory over Tampa Bay and Columbus won their 16th in a row beating Edmonton 3-1.

(NBA)  The San Antonio Spurs crushed the  Toronto Raptors 110-82 last night, holding the Raptors to their lowest score of the season. DeMar DeRozan led Toronto with 26 points.
