The Toronto Sun says former Ontario Premier Mike Harris has been advising Kevin O’Leary about the federal Conservative leadership race.  The Sun says Harris, who is the former MPP for Nipissing, is part of a committee to measure what support O’Leary has if he enters the race.  Harris has apparently been taking to the millionaire, co-host of Dragon’s Den since the summer on the pros and cons of running.  Another influential Conservative, Senator Marjorie Lebreton, says an O’Leary campaign would focus on the misguided financial policies of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.  Polls consistently show O’Leary at or near the top of leadership support and he hasn’t even declared yet.  Conservatives elect a new leader next May 27th and O’Leary is expected to announce his candidacy in January.
