Today is the last day for the hat and mitt drive in Kapuskasing. For the last while, residents have been putting winter-related clothing in donation boxes at several businesses. Kapuskasing District High School initiated the drive and will start collecting the boxes today. There’s still time to drop something off in one of the donation boxes or you can bring a hat or mitt directly to KDHS. Afterward, the donated goods will be gift wrapped for distribution to other schools before Christmas. KDHS hopes to repeat the hat and mitt drive next year.
