A 37-year-old man from Hearst has been arrested. Local police responded to a tip and after conducting a search warrant found one firearm along with several rounds of ammunition and a small amount of gun powder. The man is now facing a number of charges and has been scheduled to appear in court in Hearst in a couple of weeks.
