ANTI-BRIBERY BILL PASSES SECOND READING

The Private Members Bill that would make it illegal to ask  for or accept a bribe has passed second reading. Timmins James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson introduced the bill after an allegation that the energy minister Glenn Thibeault wanted something in return to represent the Liberals in Sudbury. Bisson says it doesn’t make sense that it would be illegal to offer a bribe to someone, but not to accept it.
