Winter is upon us and Northeastern Police Units want to ensure residents are safe on the roads. The OPP says it’s important to prepare your vehicle for winter driving. Staff Seargent Baldassare Nuccio with the James Bay detachment says when traveling, make sure others know where you’re planning on going. Nuccio says drivers should always brush the snow and ice off all windows, mirrors and lights before leaving because if they don’t it’s not only dangerous but you could also receive a fine.
