Temiskaming Cochrane MPP John Vanthof is stressing the importance of passenger rail service in the North. This comes after a fatal collision last week caused Highway 11 to be closed. Vanthof say when this happens it prevents residents from being able to access health care of their families. Â Vanthof says cancelling passenger rail service in the North is something the government shouldn’t have done five years ago.
