The Timmins Police Service have laid charges after investigating an incident involving a local man who sent threatening text messages. Police say the incident took place earlier this week after responding to a call where the resident had himself and his family threatened. Police have arrested and charged a 20-year-old man from Timmins with uttering threats and failing to comply with a probation order. The accused was in court yesterday morning for his bail hearing.
