The Town of Cochrane is trying to break a world record while replacing their beloved Mascot. The Cochrane Board of Trade is fundraising for the project which would see CHIMO the mascot replaced by biggest hand carved bear in the world. The current structure is almost 50 years old and although it has had some mini upgrades since then, it needs to be replaces, not just fixed. The Board is hoping to have the new mascot up this coming summer and already have over 80 per cent of the funding for the project.
