BEWARE TICKS WHILE HUNTING

The Porcupine Health Unit is reminding residents to be tick smart this hunting season. The health unit says while you’re in the bush, you’re sharing the outdoors with ticks which can cause the disease. A tick carrying lyme disease must be attached to you for at least 24 to 36 hours before it can transmit the disease. For some tips and tricks on how to minimize your exposure click HERE.
