The annual festival of lights will be returning to Kapuskasing next month. Over 400 thousand colorful lights transform Riverside Park into a winter wonderland every year. Special Events Co-coordinator and organizer of the festival, Kelly Kraby says after the Santa Parade makes its way over to the park that’s when the lighting ceremony will take place.  Kraby says they have around ten stations with electrical panels set up around the park and volunteers will be at each one so all the lights can be turned on at the same time. The park will be lit up from mid-November until the start of January and again for the Winter Carnival in February.
