With the end of cottage season approaching Northeastern police units are advising the public to make cottages less attractive and appealing to thieves. Inspector Michael Pilon with the James Bay Detachment says one way to minimize the risk of break-ins is to avoid leaving valuable items out in plain sight. Â The OPP is also reminding residents to always remove firearms and alcohol when the cottage is closed for the season.
