Police say now is the time to get your winter tires put on your car. The OPP say the roads will likely have black ice on them before snow falls. That can happen after receiving light dustings of snow, like we had last week, which melt throughout the day and then refreezes at night. The police also says to ensure all snow and ice is scraped off of your car before hitting the roads.
