A man from Mattheson is being charged with several counts of sexual assault. Back in August police were made aware of the assault which took place several years ago. Earlier in the week the OPP arrested and charged the 27-year-old in connection to the assault. The accused is scheduled to appear in Court in Timmins at the end of the month. The accused name is being not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
