Rumours have been going around about clown sightings in Kapuskasing. The OPP would like to advise the public that they haven’t received any of these reports. Staff Sergeant Baldassare Nuccio with the James Bay Detachment says while it’s possible that people are dressing up like clowns in town, nobody has called it in. Nuccio says if you do see someone dressed up or wearing any disguise to let police handle the situation. Nuccio says police would have to investigate to see what the individual’s intentions are. He says if the disguised person is harassing anyone or causing a disturbance police will take whatever action is necessary.
