The MNRF is reminding hunters to be safe while having fun out in the bush this year. With hunting season upon us the ministry is proving the public with some safety tips. Conservation Officer with the MNRF in Kapuskasing Dan Dufour says hunters should always wear orange, be sure that someone knows where you plan on going and to bring a GPS with you in case you get lost.  Dufour also says hunters should never shoot unless they are sure of their target and what’s beyond it. The MNRF will be working closely with local police units to ensure the safety of all hunters this season.
