NewsGOGAMA OIL SPILL PROTEST SHARE ON: Tim Rout, staff Wednesday, Oct. 5th, 2016Highway 144 is going to be seeing a protest on Monday, as Gogama residents are still unhappy with the CN cleanup of last year’s oil spill. The MPP for Nickel Belt, France Gelinas, says the provincial government needs to order CN to clean up the remaining oil in the river. The Minister of Transportation, Steven Del Duca, says the government takes the issue very seriously, and says they get how critical access to safe water is.
