Cochrane residents have gathered in a cooperative effort to remember native women who have gone missing or been murdered. A group of local women have created an art project that will be on display at the Cochrane Public Library now through thanksgiving, commemorating the occasion. The display is called Gone But Not Forgotten. Originally, a vigil was planned for early this afternoon at the Healing Garden, but Doreen Pichette, one of the organizers, says they opted to relocate for the peninsula for 6pm. Pichette went on to say men are also welcome to attend the event, which will be accompanied by a performance from a native drum troop.
