The Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat is expanding its boarders today. Karen Cummings, manager of the habitat says Enclosure 4 is opening today. The lake enclosure will vastly expand the space in which Inukshuk, Ganuk and Henry can roam. 4200 feet of fencing surrounds the area which is now closed to swimming and fishing, for obvious safety reasons. Cummings says the habitat is now the largest facility of its kind on earth – as far as they know.
