COCHRANE FIRE DEPARTMENT RESCUE COMPETITION

If you’re interested in seeing the Cochrane Fire Department strut their stuff, the lot behind the Detour Gold lab is the place to be tomorrow morning.  Fire Fighters will be on hand at 8am setting up, and the public is invited to watch at 9am.  Organizers ask that observers be careful to keep a respectful distance.  Operators will challenge one another for speed and efficiency, rescuing simulated victims from a variety of vehicle-collision scenarios.  The annual competition is open to all area Fire Departments, including the Detour Gold Quick Response Team.
