The Ontario Coalition of Indigenous People is bringing the Nuclear Waste Management Organization into Timmins this weekend. The presentation is happening at the Timmins Native Friendship Centre, and will give an update on Canada‘s plan for the safe return of used nuclear fuel. There will also be a presentation from the O-C-I-P on the recent Supreme Court decision that Metis and non-status Indians are all classified as Indians in the Constitution. It‘s happening at the centre on Saturday, from 11 to 3.
