Fire crews were called to the scene of a burning vehicle on Highway 11 last week. Part of the highway was blocked off in Kapukasing by the golf course as first responders tried putting out the blaze. Fire Chief for the Town of Kapuskasing, Pat Kennedy says it was an old car so the problem could have been mechanical.  Kennedy says the owners of the vehicle headed back to Southern Ontario after a trip out West. Nobody was injured in the fire.
