The Town of Smooth Rock Falls is rolling out a roadside garbage and recycling program this fall. This will be the first time that recyclables are collected in the town. Waste and recycling carts will be delivered to residents over the next couple of weeks. CAO and Director of Economic Development, Luc Denault says they purchased a new truck a couple weeks ago that will be able to collect both garbage and recycling. Â Denault says they are looking to share the trucks with other municipalities to save on costs. The new plan will get underway in early October.
