Reaction to this week’s throne speech is continuing to come out, and now Chair of the Timmins Economic Development Corporation is speaking out. Fred Gibbons, who is also the President of Northern College, was asked his thoughts on the speech during Monday night’s council meeting, specifically about the lack of Ring of Fire mentions. Gibbons says although dissatisfying, it was not unexpected, given that the chromite project was always expected to be a slow starter.
