Members of the James Bay Detachment have arrested a man in connection to a stolen firearm and vehicle. On September 2nd police were advised of a collision that took place just North of Hearst.  The OPP determined that the man had stolen property from several different houses. Police say after the man had been involved in the collision he returned to one of the houses where he had stolen the motor vehicle, stole a motocross type of motorcycle and proceeded to cause damage to the Hearst Golf Club. A 19-year-old man from Hearst is being charged with several counts of break and enter, theft, possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana, and meth. The accused will appear at the Hearst Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges October 12th.
