The Town of Kapuskasing is looking to hire some volunteer firefighters. Fire Chief Pat Kennedy says that they’re short on volunteers and are looking to bring in nine new people. There will be an open house for anyone who’s interested to visit the fire house September, 8th at 7:00pm. Kennedy says they are looking for people who have the time to commit and want to be active members of the community. If you are selected to be a volunteer firefighter you will be provided with the necessary training. The deadline to apply is Wednesday September 14th at 4:30pm.
