Since 2006 Soles 4 Souls has collected and donated 26 million pairs of shoes to those in need around the world. Since coming to the Cochrane/Iroquois Falls area earlier this summer around 2,000 pairs of shoes have been collected. Soles for Souls Volunteer Jessika Karroll says that once they pick up 25,000 pairs they will have the opportunity to go deliver them to the country they feel is most in need. Karroll says so far they have received tremendous community support. In the past the organization has run shoe drives and they are planning another event for the end of the month.  MooseFM is accepting shoe donations until the end of August.
