Members of the Kirkland Lake OPP have charged a man with several offences after a traffic violation. A 20 year old man from Englehart has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and cannabis along with several counts of assaulting a police officer, uttering threats and failing to comply with a probation order. The incident occurred Wednesday night at around 5:00pm. The accused was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
