Ashes and burned remains of bikes and other equipment is all that’s left where Gaston’s used to be. Emergency fire crews were called to the scene on Riverside Drive in Kapuskasing Friday night to put out the blaze. Part of the street was blocked as fire crews tried to do as much damage control as possible. They were able to stop the fire from spreading to the buildings next door but residents were evacuated as a safety precaution. Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
