After a significant weather delay, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers defeated the Hamilton Tiger Cats 37-11 last night. Blue Bombers newcomer QB Matt Nichols now has his second straight win. The game was delayed for over two-and-a-half hours due to thunderstorms. Nichols, in his second straight start went 23-for-31 with 246 yards and no interceptions in the bout.

Josh Donaldson led the Jays to a 3-1 win against the Houston Astros last night with two homers. Despite the lack in offensive production from the Jays, they managed to go 2-1 in their series against the Astros thanks to a solid defense.
