The Toronto Blue Jays avoided the sweep in Oakland yesterday. Toronto beat the A’s 5-3. Josh Donaldson hit a tiebreaking two-run double with two outs in the ninth for the Jays.

Henrik Stenson won the British Open yesterday. Stenson came out on top with a 20-under 264, the lowest 72-hole score in major championship history. Phil Mickelson finished three shots back.

Will Power took advantage of a late caution to win the Toronto Indy yesterday. It was Powers third win in his last 4 races. James Hinchcliffe finished third.
